Today was my second day of work at Disney. Instead of spending the day in our offices, the Industrial Engineering department let all the interns explore the parks. The eighteen of us were broken up into three different groups. From there, each group picked a park to explore. My group picked Epcot!
It was a nice opportunity to bond with the other interns and familiarize ourselves with the parks. As Disney Industrial Engineering interns, we spend a fair amount of time within the parks and resorts. By familiarizing ourselves with the parks, we set ourselves up for success later on in our terms. It helps to be familiar with the various parks, rides, and attractions since our projects could deal with any of them.
